I’m recording my first album of original music, which has been something I’ve wanted to do for a veerryyy long time. I was in the 7th grade when I wrote my first song to help me process something I was going through, and ever since then writing music has been the main way I’m able to work through my thoughts and feelings. Listening to other peoples’ music has facilitated me to be able to move through my own emotions in such a healing way and I hope that by sharing my music I’ll be able to do that for other people as well!
As an independent artist, I am self-funded – meaning in order to make music I need to pay for the recording process, mixing, mastering, hiring the musicians and engineers, recording studio rentals, promotional photos, publishing costs, marketing, song placements, etc. etc. Without the help of a label to organize things for me or cover any of the costs this all becomes prohibitively expensive. That’s where your help comes in!
The community I’ve built over the years is one of the most beautiful and important things in my entire life. While I’ve historically struggled to ask for help when I need it, I’m finally taking the steps to listen to all my beautiful friends who’ve encouraged me to reach out when I need them and I am asking for your help in raising funds to make this record.
By helping me raise my goal of at least $8,000 you will help me create jobs for my team of 8-10 people whom I have been working with to make this record possible as well as realize my dream of putting out my own music into the world.
If we raise $8,500 I can afford an extra studio day to record another song. If we raise $9,000 I can make a music video for my first single! If we raise $10,000 or more I will be able to hire someone to help me with press releases for all of the singles I will be putting out leading up to the release of my album which will allow more people to hear my music and really further my career in a lasting and impactful way.
My full-time job here in Nashville for the last 8 years has been supporting others in achieving their musical goals and visions and I am so excited to finally be in a place where I’m doing that for myself.
